Through the Young Money Manager Program, youth gain access to extensive financial literacy training including the Everfi - Financial Literacy program, a 6-hour online learning course that will teach classes, and certify you in over 600 important topics of financial literacy. For example, you will learn about your options for financing your future education, how to budget, ways to protect yourself from fraud, options for investing, and much more!

Young Money Manager Program*
100 hours Train the Trainer (on- the-job training)
- 40 hours of Knowledge development
- 20 hours of Leadership development
- 16 hours of Team Presentation Preparation
- 10 hours of Media Training
- 10 hours of Public Speaking
- 4 hours of Observation
6 - 8 hours Speaker Series on topics:
- Personal Branding
- Life Long Learning
- Resume Writing (2 parts)

During the Summer Youth Employment Program, Bank on DC provides on the job training and support to a team of youth facilitators who provide outreach/education to their peers about how money affects their daily lives-now and in the future. To become a Young Money Manager for DOES's Summer Youth Employment Program, each participant must complete the YMMC Program. Once certified, YMM Facilitators travel to summer host-sites to educate and empower their peers to make inform financial decisions and promote saving.

A 6-week financial empowerment program. Including a starter account, guest speakers, online and instructor led instruction, and banking simulations.
